Men are found all over RuneScape, mainly in towns such as Varrock, East Ardougne, Falador, Lumbridge, or Edgeville. However, they can be found in some unusual places, like just south of the wall of Falador. If talked to, they sometimes give a Flier. They can be killed as a good source of herbs for low-levelled players. However, it is generally accepted that even for low-levelled players, there are better things to kill for money/clue scrolls. Nevertheless, men still provide a good income of up to 200,000 coins per hour (usually 150,000 coins per hour).
Pickpocketing[]
Men and Women can be used to start Thieving by pickpocketing them at level 1. Each successful pickpocket gives 8 Thieving experience and 3 coins (20 after the Lost Her Marbles Miniquest from the Thieves' Guild.) Unsuccessful attempts result in a 5-second stun and some life points being taken (the higher your life points the higher the damage will be.) Having the lowest requirement to be stolen from along with Pompous Merchant, and giving a good amount of experience from each successful pickpocket, almost all members start Thieving in this way.
As with all pickpocketable monsters, to fail while wearing any degradeable armor with the exception of corrupt dragon will degrade the armor slightly.
Werewolves[]
Men and women can be also found in the northern Morytanian city of Canifis. These NPCs are level 24 instead of the normal level 4 and will turn into level 88 werewolves if attacked with any weapon other than the Wolfbane dagger. The Wolfbane dagger is a reward after the Priest in Peril quest. If the Wolfbane dagger is unequipped, the man will regain full life points and turn into a werewolf.

- If you contact him with NPC Contact, the man will mention he is using the toilet. This is the third NPC to be using a toilet. The others are Traitorous Ali and Hallak, the water spirit.
