Examine text | Normally: A hideous creature covered in ganodermic fungus. Affected by neem oil: This ganodermic beast has been weakened slightly. |
Ganodermic beasts are monsters requiring a Slayer level of 95 to kill. They are found at the bottom of the Polypore Dungeon (this includes the Agility and resource section). Players cannot receive these as a Slayer task if their Magic level is below 60.
Ganodermic beasts are the only monsters along with Ganodermic runts that have a chance to drop the ganodermic gloves and boots. Additionally, only these beasts can drop the polypore stick. They also have a good chance of dropping items from the Rare Drop Table due to their high slayer and combat level.

Trivia[]
- This monster has the highest Slayer requirement outside of Dungeoneering, breaking the previous record holder, ice strykewyrms. It is now tied with the Legiones in the Monastery of Ascension.
- After the release of the Evolution of Combat, Ganodermic beasts had too low lifepoints for their level. Jagex hotfixed this by placing Cabbage and low coin drops into their drop table as an extremely common drop. They have since been buffed and the coin and cabbage drops removed. The update also allowed them to drop Ganodermic boots and gloves.
- During an update, Ganodermic beasts were accidentally made aggressive to players. This has been fixed.
